Cancellations must be submitted in writing to our reservations department. For individual reservations during low and high seasons, changes or cancellations are accepted without penalty up to 30 days before arrival. Cancellations within 29 days, no-shows, or early departures incur a 100% penalty. For the Festive period (December 20 – January 5), specific deposit and cancellation rules apply as detailed in your reservation confirmation.
Room rates at Nayara Gardens include a complimentary daily Gourmet Breakfast. Additional inclusions and amenities may vary depending on your selected booking program or current seasonal offers.
Yes — we provide private transfers in air-conditioned vehicles from San José (SJO) or Liberia (LIR) international airports, approximately a 3-hour drive to the Arenal Volcano National Park area. We can also coordinate private plane transfers to the local La Fortuna airstrip, followed by a 15–20 minute drive to the resort.
Yes, complimentary WiFi is available throughout our resort to keep you connected — or simply to give you the choice to fully disconnect and immerse yourself in the rainforest.

We prioritize transparency in our pricing. A mandatory 13% VAT is applied to all bookings in Costa Rica. Extra charges for additional persons or cleaning fees for policy violations may also apply and will always be communicated clearly before or at the time of booking.
We accept all major international credit cards. For last-minute bookings or peak season reservations, full prepayment by credit card may be required to secure your reservation at the time of booking.
We strongly recommend booking accommodation several months in advance for high-demand periods, particularly during the Festive and holiday seasons. For dining and spa treatments, we suggest reservations at least two to three weeks before arrival to ensure your preferred times are available.

Cancellations due to force majeure — such as acts of God, war, terrorism, or natural disasters — may qualify for a refund or travel credit at our discretion. Documentation of the event and its direct impact on your travel is required, and each case is reviewed individually. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
Given our rainforest climate, we recommend light layers, a rain jacket, and closed-toe shoes for nature trails. The resort observes a "Resort Chic" dress code for evenings; for the spa, comfortable wear and flats are ideal — you may safely leave your heels at home.
Yes — we welcome special requests for specific views or room placements. While we will do our utmost to accommodate your preferences at check-in, these requests are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

Outside of the Festive Season, we do not enforce minimum stay requirements. During the holiday period, departures are not permitted on December 24th and 31st, and attendance at our holiday gala dinners is mandatory for those evenings.
